AG-PAC is a political Action Committee representing the interests of agriculture, forestry and natural resource based industries.

Ag-PAC was created to help in the process of:

• Electing AG, forestry and natural resource friendly legislators.

• To give agriculture, forestry and other natural resourced based industries a voice in the legislative process by helping elect candidates who believe that the natural resource communities share in the economic vitality of Oregon.

The Natural Resource industry of Oregon
has been a staple of the Oregon economy since statehood.  There were 59 delegates elected to work on our state constitution, in 1857 and thirty-three of them were farmers.

Over the years, the natural resource
industries position was weakened.  The cities grew and our state began writing
rules and regulations that were putting
our farmers and ranchers out of business.

In 1989 six farmers and ranchers decided
to start taking back control of their destiny.  AG-PAC was born!
